Volleyball Set For Home-Opening South Texas Showdown Against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The 2022 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) regular season champion The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team will make its home debut Tuesday in the South Texas Showdown presented by Rally Credit Union.

The Vaqueros (3-3) will take on the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) Islanders (4-1) at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

The first 300 fans in attendance will receive free #BeatCorpus t-shirts and the first 250 students will get a free meal voucher. The Herd, UTRGV’s student section, will be hosting pregame activities for all students.
